Pysanky Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop in Tucson

Pysanky -from pysaty (писати), "to write" — are masterpieces of Ukrainian art, where the designs are "written" in hot wax on a raw egg with a stylus and dipped in succeeding different color dyes. Participants will be provided with the necessary tools and will learn the "batik" technique applied to a raw egg. For those who decide to continue this art, supplies will be available for purchase .All proceeds to help Ukrainian War victims.

Directions: West on Glenn to 15th street, past Oracle, South to Vanover Road. Church is on corner

Date and Time: March 22, 2025 - 11:15 a.m.- 3:15 p.m.

Cost: $30 adults - $10 students - Children with parents- free

Age Restrictions: Not younger than 7 (OK if with parents)
